The Hunt is Over!

As a big raincloud sits over London, the globe making studio is bustling with activity.

New innovative branding, freshly painted globes, various base designs, inspiring weekend exhibitions and our Globe Egg are cause for excitement this Tuesday morning.

Let’s start with our Globe Egg for the Faberge Big Egg Hunt. As bidding on the eggs ended (Monday 9th April) we were over the moon to see that our globe egg raised a HUGE £11,101 with over 100 bids! All proceeds go to the fantastic causes – charities Action for Children and the Elephant Family.

We are very proud and thankful to everyone who supported us over the Big Egg Hunt journey!

In other news… our beautiful new website is being designed as we speak; with exciting features, a full catalogue of our globes and a peek at our future globe designs.  We have an upcoming globe exhibition at the Royal Geographic Society (more details to follow); commissions from big names in the art world, our apprentices trying out new colours for our desk globes, our craftsmen making giant wooden bases, and have just delivered a globe to a VVIP office in New York City.  Wow.

Check out our Pinterest to see whats got us inspired at Bellerby Globemakers this week, and follow us on Twitter and Facebook to keep up-to-date with our globe filled days. Happy Tuesday!
